Starting with their founding, when they had five function LED digital displays, the five functions being hour, minute, second, day, and date. They then switched over from LEDs with the invention of LCD displays and their watches became very accurate and very durable, making them affordable, quality sports watches. The majority of their spokesmen have been athletes, including Jerry Rice, Dwight Gooden, and Larry Bird.
Now, Armitron continues to create sports watches as well as men’s and women’s dress watches. These watches can be repaired in several ways, including crystal replacement, module/movement replacement, battery replacement, and band repair.
